I've had problems with every campaign i've started since the 1.2 patch. The next turn they break the siege and go home. After more than a century of being faitfull allies the Dacians besiege one of my cities. They blockade my port in Iberia and attack. You'd think they could be grateful, but nooo. they get Carthage and my other nearby teritories. I however don't want to get into a war with Egypt so what I do is I send a diplomat over to Palma and offer the Carthaginians the following: As Germania I destroy the Romans and conquer part of northern Africa.
I will teach them to mess with me.īefore the patch I had some really weird betrayals. Well at least I manipulated them into a war with the Romans and Parthia (remember the city I captured? It became a gift.) And since the Seleucids (a protectorate of Egypt) were allied with Parthia they are now no longer a protectorate and the backstabers are pretty much surounded by enemies.
They sent no invasion force whatsoever (until I captured one of their cities that is).
